More than 5,000 customers are without power after severe thunderstorms Thursday evening swept across central Pennsylvania with drenching rain, winds and nonstop lightning.PPL Electric Utilities reported
The tornado watch that went into effect mid-afternoon Thursday expired at 11 p.m. All of the severe thunderstorm warnings have been taken down.
