Steve Kerr, Warriors Agree To Two-Year, $35M Extension - RealGM Wiretap
Kerr's deal makes him the highest paid coach in NBA history in terms of annual average at $17.5 million per year. Gregg Popovich makes more than Kerr on an annual basis, but he is also president of the San Antonio Spurs. Erik Spoelstra's eight-year deal pays him approximately $15 million per year.
The agreement completes months of talks between Golden State general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Kerr's representatives.
