Crues boss gives honest assessment following north Belfast derby defeat
Stephen Baxter wants a reaction from his Crusaders side after offering up a scathing assessment of his side's performance in Monday night's north Belfast derby against Cliftonville. And while he admitted it would take a day or two to get the match out of their system Baxter challenged his squad to put things right at home to Glenavon this afternoon.
“If you don't do the simple basics in football, by marking people and getting tight, you will be punished. “We changed our shape at half time, still didn't get the penetration we needed and Cliftonville ran out fairly easy winners on the night and they may have scored three more goals. "The only thing we will focus on is our play, what we need to improve on and what we need to do to get back on track.
