Star Trek: very Short Treks goes out with a song.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The final installment of Star Trek: very Short Treks surprisingly turns into the second Star Trek musical, and it calls out which show really invented the holodeck.
Star Trek: very Short Treks episode 5 sees Star Trek: Lower Decks' Ensign D'Vana Tendi , pre-her season 4 promotion, meet Scotty and M'Ress from Star Trek: TAS, but their conversation goes south fast before Star Trek: The Next Generation's Commander Will Riker and Star Trek: The Original Series' Mr. Sulu arrive to liven things up with a musical number.
Amusingly, Tendi and Scotty have an argument about which Star Trek show really invented the holodeck. D'Vana points out Star Trek: The Animated Series called their proto-holodeck "the Rec Room," and "it was just a boring snowstorm" while Lower Decks has had exciting holodeck action like fighting the Cardassians and the Borg.
