The delivery came ahead of Ed's show at the Hydro tonight.
The 'Shape Of You' singer dropped off around 500 hand-signed copies of his new single, Eyes Closed to Assai Records on Sauchiehall Street.Sheeran made the announcement earlier today via Instagram.
He said:"There's an independant record store called Assai and I have dropped off the last remaining 'Eyes Closed' CD's that are signed.A post shared by Assai Records Glasgow Steven Spencer, assistant manager of Assai Records, said:"I was really shocked and it was completely out of the blue. It was a shocker.
"It's amazing . We only opened on Wednesday and so, to get this kind of recognition from someone like Ed Sheeran is amazing."We got 500 copies and we've got about 100 left. I don't think they'll last long."You can find the store at 233 Sauchiehall Street or online
