The 73-year-old Popovich arrived at Crypto.com Arena and met with the media about 90 minutes before tip-off as prescribed by league rules. He appeared in good spirits, and spoke for more than 12 minutes. When the game began, however, Popovich was not present in the arena bowl. Assistant Brett Brown served as acting coach.
