Chubb can't save the Browns anymore, so it's time for someone else to assume his superhero persona -- or at least take accountability for why nobody else can.

When the Browns lost Nick Chubb to a gruesome knee injury with about 14 minutes remaining in the second quarter on Monday Night Football, every player, coach and onlooker felt the moment’s gravity.
Backup running back Jerome Ford performed admirably with 131 total yards, 69 of which came on one run that setup a one-yard touchdown from third-stringer Pierre Strong in the third quarter. But that was Cleveland’s last -- and really its only without Chubb, who exited one play before Watson threw Cleveland’s other touchdown to Ford.
And what about Andrew Berry, who not only traded for Watson but gave him $230 million guaranteed. The worst mistake an executive can make is paying for a quarterback who isn’t worth it. And it would be extra painful for the Browns to paid the wrong one that came with 20-plus sexual assault allegations.
Watson isn’t the answer so far. That doesn’t mean he won’t ever be, but Chubb’s injury will make it harder for Browns fans to wait.
