By focusing on taking down targets individually, the Webslinger is missing the larger picture, which is that career supercriminals actually get worse thanks to his interference.
In a situation where he has already done something very wrong, this rubs salt into Spider-Man's wounds, with the Wall-Crawler firing back with an uncharacteristic denial of responsibility.
