A teenager and a man have been arrested after police claim they discovered a knife and an offensive weapon on them in Glasgow city centre.
The specialist Divisional Violence Reduction Unit used stop and search powers to uncover the weapons at the weekend.spokesperson said:"Each weekend, our Divisional Violence Reduction Unit officers patrol Glasgow city centre and proactively use stop search powers. "Last night , as a result of searches, two males, age 16 and 20 were arrested for possession of a knife and an offensive weapon."
