The barge will sail past key sites on the Clyde, such as Dumbarton Rock, Braehead and Glasgow Harbour.
Part of a new bridge which aims to reconnect two Glasgow communities, will arrive on the River Clyde on Friday.
The Govan-Partick Bridge project includes the construction of a new pedestrian/cycle bridge over the River Clyde, re-establishing the historic connection between the areas.
