The teen will undergo her last chemotherapy session in November after being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia two and a half years ago. It’s been a long journey for her, during which she lost her hair twice and developed kidney stones, her family said. The Gonzalez family of South Elgin celebrates after learning they will be headed to Green Bay, Wisconsin, this weekend to see the Chicago Bears play the Packers. The gift was from Advocate Health, which wanted to help 14-year-old Kaylah Gonzalez celebrate the end of her chemotherapy treatments for cancer.
