A 2-year-old girl was shot Monday night on Chicago's Southeast Side.
Around 7:41 p.m., the toddler was inside an apartment in the 7900 block of S. Phillips Ave. when she was struck in the right hand by gunfire, according to police.
The child was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition. A firearm was recovered at the scene, police said. One person of interest is currently being questioned by CPD detectives. The investigation is ongoing.that I have read and agree
