Gogglebox Sandifords deliver withering verdict on raunchy show - but even Pete admits he 'must be good'
Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford delivered a withering verdict as attention turned to a raunchy new TV drama.
The Gogglebox cast are back on our screens for the latest series of the hit Channel 4 show and the gang this week cast their eyes over shows including Rise and Fall and Dr Down Below. Blackpool siblings Pete and Sophie Sandiford were once again among those sharing their candid views on the offerings.
Towards the end of the episode, attention turned to new Neflix original Obsession. The film centres around a surgeon played by Richard Armitage who embarks on an affair with his son's fiancée.The cast reacted with intrigue and surprise as the pair's encounter quickly turned into a top shelf encounter, only to end more quickly than it began. While hairdresser Stephen Webb bemoaned a lack of foreplay, Pete observed: "He's done absolutely zero groundwork here. He must be good.
Sophie then joked that he must have cramp due to the noises being made before adding: "Not even worth getting undressed for." The pair have been on the programme since 2017 and have become firm fan favourites.
