Fourteen-year-old Armita Mojazza is a huge Harry Styles fan, and TikTok knows it.
Videos of Styles are “pretty much always” showing up as Armita scrolls through the platform, she said — “the feed obviously adjusts to your interests.”
Those videos, combined with notifications from Snapchat and other social media outlets, lure Armita, of White Plains, New York, into up to five hours of Her mother, Shahrzad Mojazza, said she was shocked to learn how much time her daughter spends online. “I feel like I’m waking up to this news,” she said.

Lindian signs maiden monzenite offtake dealASX-listed Lindian Resources has inked its maiden sales and purchase contract with global commodities trader Gerald Metals. Under the terms of the agreement, Lindian will supply 45 000 t/y of monzanite concentrate from the Stage 1 development of the Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi. The contract will run for a period of 60 months from the start of commercial production, and could be extended by a further two years, in 12 month increments.
