Solon police are investigating a theft at Spirit Halloween Wednesday of approximately 50 Halloween costume items.
Officers say management reported that four women had left the store without paying for approximately 50 Halloween costume items and leaving the area in a brown Ford Edge SUV.Witnesses told police they saw four women walk through the store putting costumes in their basket before leaving without paying.
An employee at the store described three of the women to police as wearing dark clothing with one wearing a face mask, and a fourth wearing a light colored jacket and sweat pants with a bonnet. Surveillance video shows the women walking through the store with items in baskets and two of them walking out of the store carrying items in baskets.
