Soccer player Kelly Parker, who scored the decisive goal that qualified the Canadian women’s team for the 2012 Olympics, went on to win bronze at the Games in London. She also played with Canada at the World Cup, played for several professional teams, and is third in career points at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Diver Kathy Seaman placed ninth on the tower at the 1972 Olympics and won numerous Canadian titles. She went on to serve as an international diving judge, official and technical delegate, including at nine Olympics and 15 world championships.
