Fans said Charley Webb is 'smashing it' as they shared messages of support
The 35-year-old is renowned for her role as Debbie Dingle in the fictional Yorkshire village. Charley played the character until 2021 before she quit to pursue other opportunities.
Charley regularly keeps fans updated with her life post-Emmerdale on Instagram and she has taken to the social media platform to share snaps from her new TV show. Charley plays police officer, Anna Lawson, in the ITV drama and she issued a proud update ahead of the show. She said: "I’m extremely proud to be involved with the work that’s been created in The Long Shadow. A harrowing story that has been told with such respect and sensitivity. A compelling tribute to the victims and their families, tonight 9pm on ITV & ITVX with the most incredibly talented team. George Kay and @lewisaea have created something extremely special.
