Earps' phenomenal performances of late have seen the 'keeper attract the utmost attention, but United remain stern in their message - she belongs in Manchester.
Manchester United boss Marc Skinner insists that the FIFA Best goalkeeper, Mary Earps, is “100 per cent” committed to the club despite being a prime subject on Arsenal's radar.
The 30-year-old has had an incredible run lately having laid claim to the European Champions winners trophy and the Golden Glove accolade, the Golden Glove for last domestic season claiming 14 clean sheets out of 22. This summer saw Earps take away the World Cup runners-up medal and the Golden Glove award too. Not only that, in 2022 she was awarded the FIFA Best honour and has been nominated for the award again this year.
Skinner describes the club and player partnership as a ‘perfect marriage’ despite sources revealing the ‘keeper expressed her wishes to leave. He said: "I've known Mary a long time. She's been exceptional for a number of years, so of course we wanted to keep her and build on what we want to do, which is win.
“She wants to win and so do I. We're aligned in our thinking and our team needs to perform. As long as we want the same thing, then it's a perfect marriage.”
