Police have been investigating the area around Tina Satchwell's home following new information about her disappearance in March 2017.
Skeletal remains have been uncovered in the search for a woman who has been missing for over six years. For the last three days, cops have been investigating the area around the former home of Tina Satchwell, who disappeared in March 2017.
And at lunchtime today, it was confirmed that Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margot Bolster was expected to arrive at the scene shortly, after gardai discovered what are believed to be human bones last night, Cork Beo reports. It is understood Tina's family have been informed about the discovery by a liaison officer. Her husband, Richard, was believed to have been the last person that saw Ms Satchwell, 45, alive.
It is understood the latest search of Tina's home was sparked by new information about renovations taking place at the home. There have been reports of digging outside the property since she vanished over six-and-a-half years ago.
