Two women who confessed to helping a family member after his fatal shooting of another man have received jail sentences.
After the shooting, Hutchinson retreated to a nearby traveller's site, seeking refuge for a few hours.Hutchinson revealed during his earlier trial that he hid in one of the scrap cars and later the brick sheds to evade the police he assumed were looking for him.He used a phone box to ring his grandmother, Riley, telling her he had been a"bad boy and hurt someone". He asked if she could pick him up from Peterborough to go back to her home in Skegness.
The next evening , around 9pm, armed police officers arrested Hutchinson on suspicion of murder at his grandmother's home on Spirewic Avenue.During her police interview, Riley admitted that her grandson had requested to spend time with her as he had been a"bad boy". She claimed she didn't know why but allowed it and made the journey to collect him from Peterborough.
