‘I’d heard that she really resonated with [main character] Claire’s story. Obviously, we knew she was struggling with the death of her son, and certainly wasn’t prepared necessarily to come out and do a lot of press. But we were so excited, and we just went down that road,’ revealed show producer Maril Davis toO’Connor’s mangers Carl and Kenny Papenfus ‘had the honour’ of producing the number while composer Bear McCreary supplied the instrumentation.
‘We recorded it at Grouse Lodge, a beautiful residential studio in Ireland, over two days and little did we know at that time that it would be Sinéad’s last ever recording,’ they told us.
