An appeal was made after the winner on the EuroMillions draw initially failed to claim their prize.
BBC News, West MidlandsThe National Lottery had asked people in Shropshire to check their tickets again after nobody claimed the Millionaire Maker prize at first.The lottery has not yet revealed the winner's name, or where exactly in the county they live.
When it put out the appeal for the winner to come forward, the lottery said it could only narrow its location down to a specific town or city if it had a population of more than 75,000.The lottery said it would only reveal the identity of the winner or winners if they decided to go public and share their news.
The lucky ticket was bought for the EuroMillions draw on 16 January and the winner had been given until 14 July to claim their winnings.Follow BBC West Midlands on
