An investigation is underway after two people were injured in a shooting at the Waffle House in Fairfield just before 1 a.m. Monday.
Jefferson County sheriff’s Lt. Joni Money said few details surrounding the shooting were immediately available, but said the two had possibly engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into shots being fired.One victim, an adult male, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported from Waffle House to UAB Hospital.
