The stressful situation is just going to get worse Carla Connor in Coronation Street is currently dealing with the mess Stephen Reid left Underworld in prior to his death. Shortly before Stephen was killed by Peter , he tricked Michael into transferring the funds from the Underworld bank account into a bogus one that he had set up. Add jobs being at risk and the destroyed reputation into the mix, Carla now has to work incredibly hard to get Underworld back up and running.
Peter admitted that investigation or not, he obviously will miss Carla loads but knows she needs to go to try and prevent so many people from losing their livelihoods. Carla’s trip to Spain comes ahead of Chris Gascoyne’s exit from the show. Stephen was killed after Peter hit him with his car The actor was recently speaking about Peter’s final storyline, and admitted to us that Stephen’s death is going to have a massive impact on his character’s state of mind.
