Shirley Ballas has been targeted by online trolls during her spell on Strictly Come Dancing
Strictly Come Dancing's head judge Shirley Ballas has said she's been left fearful of leaving her home due to the horrendous messages she's received from trolls. The 63-year-old said that often the messages are sexual or violent in nature.
The ballroom dancer said she then worried who these people are and about leaving the house. She said: "I am talking about being in public. You worry about those same strange people that write these kinds of messages."Sometimes at night, I lie there and wonder, Are they suffering? Are they lonely? Is it funny to them? This whole experience has made me much more vigilant. I cannot say that I leave my front door unless I am on point. I never relax.
