Shipt has tapped a former Meta executive as its first chief growth officer. The Birmingham-based shoppers app announced this week that Katie Stratton will oversee a new Shipt Growth team.

Stratton comes from Meta, where she spent 11 years in a variety of leadership roles, including five years as head of U.S. restaurant sales, and later, overseeing sales and strategy for the Facebook and Instagram national sales team. She previously held positions at Saatchi & Saatchi and Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Stratton is a founding board member of Rutgers Business School’s Center for Women in Business. She and her husband, Aaron, live in New Jersey and are parents to a six-year-old son and four-year-old twins.
