Shed fire caused $300,000 in damage at Spring Valley home [Breaking]
A fire scorched a shed at a home in Spring Valley’s La Presa neighborhood and spread to a bedroom Sunday afternoon, causing roughly $300,000 in damage, a San Miguel Fire & Rescue official said.The fire was reported about 4 p.m. on Helix Street, just north of Jamacha Road. It consumed a 12-foot-by-12-foot “makeshift” shed and spread to a back bedroom in the main house after the heat from the fire shattered a window, Durrell said.
He said crews made an “aggressive” attack on the blaze from inside and outside the home. No injuries were reported.
