Following Love Island star Shaughna Phillips' pregnancy announcement, we take a look back at her life since leaving the Love Island villa, from dating rumours to terrifying health scares
She first won the hearts of the nation while appearing on Love Island back in 2020, but in the two years since leaving the villa, Shaughna Phillips has quickly become a household name with her impeccable sense of style and cheeky personality.
However sadly in a cruel twist of fate, Shaughna was dumped on day 33 of the competition. Rather than let the rejection get her down, within hours of leaving the villa, the reality star had treated herself to a glamorous makeover as she celebrated her singledom and proved she didn’t need anyone else's approval to enjoy herself.
Putting her stunning new look to good use, Shaughna also flaunted her fabulous sense of style at a welcome home party held in her honour, as she partied alongside her fellow Love Island alumni in celebration of returning back to reality after such a surreal time on the show. As her first range went live during Lockdown, it perhaps surprised nobody that her first collection was comprised entirely of loungewear pieces, allowing those working and studying from home to stay stylish and comfortable at the same time.
"I don’t know where these rumours have come from. The only time I've really spoke to him is when we've been filming. He's just a really nice guy to be honest, but that's about as far as it goes," Shaughna explained to OK! "I have had liposuction on my lower legs, so my calves, because I was recently diagnosed with lipoedema, once I'd come out of the villa.”
Love Island Columnist Although she has ruled out ever returning to the villa like Adam Collard did in 2022, Shaughna didn’t shy away from spilling the beans on villa life during this year’s show, as she teamed up with OK! for the weekly Let’s Chat Hun broadcast on social media. “Yesterday I received my results and have had changes to some of the cells called “borderline changes” that require further examination. I also tested HPV positive,” she told her instagram followers.
