Shania Twain fan 'totally starstruck' after being brought on stage at Glasgow show
Matthew, who attended the show alone at just 17 years old, said he will need 'a lifetime' before the 'unexpected' experience sets in.
Shania invited the teen up to sing a song of his choice as fans inside the OVO Hydro cheered and applauded the youngster. Before being invited up, Shania said to the audience:"I remember I would sit on the floor with my sister and a friend and open up fan mail. "I would read as many as I could and answer as many as I could and now I can read so many more people's thoughts and messages which is really cool."Tonight I read a very sweet message from Matty who said they are coming to the show alone because if you want to experience something, go for it."You are not alone here, honey, you are loved and I'd just love to get a hug."
Taking to Twitter after the show, Matthew reminisced on the experience, writing:"Ehhhh so a thing happened…a very unexpected thing…I am in shock and totally starstruck…I will need about a lifetime for it to set in! Thank you so much for making my dream come true.
