Shane Larkin Out For Remainder Of EuroBasket Due To Hand Injury - RealGM Wiretap
Former NBA and European star Shane Larkin will miss the rest of EuroBasket after suffering an injury to fingers on his shooting hand. Turkish National Team head coach Ergin Ataman confirmed that Larkin would need surgery after being injured in a game against Montenegro.
In addition to missing the rest of EuroBasket, Larkin is expected to miss the opener of the EuroLeague season for Anadolu Efes. The veteran point guard struggled during EuroBasket play shooting only 33% while dealing with the injury. This past offseason Larkin signed a two-year deal with Anadolu Efes that is reportedly worth over $7 million. The deal has an option for the second season and does include an NBA out if Larkin wanted to return stateside.
