ESPN soccer analyst Shaka Hislop is doing"OK" after collapsing during a broadcast of a soccer match in Pasadena, California.
Hislop suddenly fell to the ground as he and ESPN host Dan Thomas were discussing the upcoming friendly, or noncompetitive match, between A.C. Milan and Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl. — Teresa July 24, 2023 Thomas would later provide an update to viewers about the analyst's condition at halftime, telling viewers Hislop was"OK" and joking that Shaka felt"a bit embarrassed by it" and had"apologized profusely." He did not provide a reason for why Hislop suddenly fell. “Obviously my mate Shaka, not here, but as it stands, it’s good news: He’s conscious, he’s talking, I think he's a bit embarrassed by it all and he's apologized profusely — not a man who likes to make a fuss of it.
