Lovehoney’s digital billboard, which made a slight dig at Prince Harry's memoir, Spare, has been banned after it was the provocative ad could be seen by children.

A sex toy advert that poked fun atLovehoney’s digital billboard ad featured an image of a ball gag and large text that stated: ‘Silence is golden, Harry.’It was displayed atThe Advertising Standards Authority received one complaint that the ad was offensive and inappropriate for display in an untargeted medium where it could be seen by children.

The retailer explained that the ad was created in response to the release of Harry’s memoir, which they pointed out contained ‘a number of indiscreet revelations, some of which had a sexual reference’.Prince Harry made several shocking revalations in his memoir Spare The ASA said it understood that some people would find the ad ‘distasteful’ but believed that it was unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence.
