The storms could produce hail and wind gusts up to 60 mph.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Thunderstorms with winds up to 60 mph and producing hail are moving quickly through parts of Northeast Ohio, including in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties.
The National Weather Service warns a line of storms is extending from near Lorain to about six miles north of Willard. The storms are moving east at about 55 mph. The storms are expected to cause damage to trees and power lines, leading to power outages, the Weather Service says. Cleveland, Lorain, Elyria, Norwalk, Vermilion, Parma, Lakewood, Strongsville, Brunswick, Westlake, North Royalton, North Ridgeville, Avon Lake, Amherst, Grafton, Milan, Northern Milan, Wakeman and North Olmsted all could be affected by the storms.
