Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham acknowledged Tuesday that any federal bill on guns would be a heavy lift. But he said state red flag laws could be a start. Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein also voiced support for red flag laws and cited legislation she’s introduced that would provide grants to states to implement such laws. But she also acknowledged that the law “is a step - it’s not a big step - it’s a small step in the right direction.”
