“But it’s not in good condition. It’s very frustrating, the council told us we had to remove everything right away.”Describing the works, a council spokesperson said: “They tried to fix the potholes and put some aggregate into holes and used a whacker plate and then to further level put soil on top.
Hilda is still committed to getting the road repaired but says they can’t afford to start from scratch and completely self-fund it again.One neighbour has apparently offered to do the work with them and can source MOT Type 1 filling better suited for the job by mid-April.One neighbour told the“Residents just need to know how to do it properly if they are going to attempt to repair holes,” he added.
