Roderick William Sutherland made his first court appearance in Saskatoon on a charge of offering an indignity to human remains.
Roderick William Sutherland, 44, appeared in Saskatoon provincial court Friday morning on a charge of offering an indignity to human remains. A Saskatoon police media release issued Thursday said RCMPSutherland will remain in custody until his next scheduled appearance on June 7.
Gallagher was last seen in Saskatoon in September 2020. The following January, city police announced they were investigating her disappearance as a homicide. Police continue to search for 44-year-old John Wayne Sanderson and 42-year-old Jessica Sutherland, who are also charged with offering an indignity to human remains. Arrest warrants were issued for Roderick Sutherland, Jessica Sutherland and John Wayne Sanderson earlier this week.
