The 30-year-old has reportedly signed a four-year extension worth $140 million.
Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks have finally reached an agreement that will keep the quarterback in Washington for the foreseeable future and make him the best-paid QB in the NFL.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Wilson signed a four-year extension worth $140 million, with $107 million guaranteed and a $65 million signing bonus. The deal, which includes a no-trade clause, makes him the highest-paid player in the league and surpasses the extension Aaron Rodgers signed with the Green Bay Packers in August last year.
Since being drafted as a third-round pick in 2012, Wilson has developed into a key figure for the Seahawks, leading them to victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.
