Robbie Ure left Ibrox in the summer following the expiry of his contract.
He spent time training with Kilmarnock and Queen's Park during pre-season. He also had a trial with Dutch giants AZ Alkmaar.
He explained on Open Goal:"I had the worst coaching experience. Our centre-forward was suspended, so we were wanting to get a centre-forward in. "So I looked and thought 'He's not F*****g signed anywhere, I'm going to brass neck it and try to sign him'.
