Scott Pilgrim Takes Off sees the original cast reunite for a new animated series which drops on Netflix this Friday
Scott Pilgrim fans have the chance to catch an advanced screening of the new animated Netflix series this week.
The screening is part of Manchester Animation Festival, which takes place in the city centre until Saturday November 25. Other events as part of the festival include special talks from Disney executive producers and Netflix animators. Among the returning cast is Michael Cera as 23-year-old bass player of Sex Bob-Omb and titular character Scott, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim and Brie Larson as Envy Adams. O'Malley told Netflix Tudum in March of the original cast: “They’ve all gone on to do incredible things, but to me, they’re family. There — to this day — is still a group email with the entire cast on it, that’s been going since 2010.
