Parts of Scotland could see a staggering 150mm of rainfall and Scots should be prepared.
Scotland is to endure a bout of wet weather later this week, as forecasters have warned of heavy rains that may cause disruption.
However, this amount is expected to rise as the second warning, which spreads up to the northwest, anticipates a staggering 125mm to pummel the West Highlands - possibly in the excess of 150mm in a few sports. This is in place for Thursday afternoon and will last until Friday night. There is also a chance of structural damage and power cuts to some homes and businesses. This may result in reduced services such as WiFi and landline phone access.
Here's what you should know about Scotland's latest weather warnings, including how long they will last and areas affected. The Met Office reports: "Heavy, and in places persistent, rain is expected to develop on Wednesday, especially across west-facing hills. 25-50 mm could fall quite widely across the warning area, and perhaps 70 mm in a few places.
