Scots school kids left screaming after pet dog 'hit by car and dragged up street'
An East Lothian mum has told how her kids were left screaming after seeing the family dog hit by a car and dragged up the street. Denise Steele told how two-year-old Bonnie bolted out of the garden of their Wallyford home and into the path of a red Mini on Tuesday, April 4.
The English bulldog was left with several nasty cuts on her head and legs which were treated by a vet. Denise alleged the car failed to stop following the incident despite her husband 'shouting'. "We called the police as we have the registration and we're waiting to hear back from them. My kids love playing with Bonnie and are always out in the street, cars just need to slow down coming up our street.
