Scots beard model in plea for help to tackle huge medical bill after developing Crohn's
A Scots beard model-turned influencer has appealed to fans to help raise nearly £100k following emergency medical treatment in America.
Chris receieved treatment in New York after being diagnosed with perianal Crohns Disease - the symptoms of which are pain, itching, bleeding, discharge, and stool incontinence. Chris has now revealed he is finding it hard to work and his partner Reed Gibson has started a fundraiser as a last resort. “I know that raising money in this current financial environment is hard, so I really appreciate any help or shares that anyone can provide at this stage.Reed explained that Chris will need to have a series of surgeries over the next 12-18 months.
“Unfortunately, his wounds and fistulas aren’t healing as we had all hoped, so these major surgical interventions are our last hope to repair the massive extent of damage.
