A Met Office map shows snowfall across northern Scotland

Scots are bracing for more snow after parts of the country saw flurries as temperatures dropped below freezing.

Across northern and northwest Scotland, the wintry conditions meant that temperatures dropped to a chilling -6C with snow flurries blanketing certain areas. Icy weather warning The Met Office has extended its ice warning to last from 2pm on Sunday, January 15 until 10am on Wednesday, January 18.
