Craig Walker, 40, is accused of killing Lauren Wilson, 34, at a flat in Renfrew
A man on trial for murdering his ex and putting her body in a sports bag sent fake messages from her phone on the day she died, a trial heard.Walker is then accused of wrapping the woman in sheets and tape before placing her in a large sports bag with the “intention of disposing of her body”.Lauren’s mum told the High Court in Glasgow she received “out of character” text messages from her after she did not pick up her daughter. She found out later that day that her daughter was dead.
Top news stories today The witness stated she had her granddaughter overnight while Lauren had a busy shift at work. Pauline stated that she found out Lauren had died in the early hours of the morning. The trial continues before Judge Lady Stacey.READ NEXT:
