Henry Kessler is taken by John Kramer and Detective Mark Hoffman for a new Jigsaw game. A device is strapped to Kessler’s chest and stomach alluding to the surgery he claimed cured his cancer. Kessler was actually part of Cecilia Pederson’s con where they would scam cancer patients of finding a cure.
The post-credits scene also finds the return of Mark Hoffman who takes over the Jigsaw mantle after the death of Kramer in. The movie teases his cameo when Kramer was on the phone with a detective twice throughout the movie, and behold it is one of the most iconic Saw characters.The future of the“We’re superstitious, so we’ve never talked about the following ‘Saw’ until the previous movie opens.
The producers also slam the idea of recasting John Kramer if any other movies were to happen. “It seems unlikely,” they tell . You know, Mads Mikkelsen took over from Anthony Hopkins and, you know, we’d need somebody on that level.”
