SAN JOSE — A person was hospitalized after an injury stabbing incident Sunday, authorities said.
In a social-media post, police said dispatchers received a call shortly after 2:50 p.m. about a possible stabbing near Almaden Expressway and Highway 85. When officers and San Jose Fire Department firefighters responded, they found a person suffering from at least one stab wound. After providing care, the person was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police did not provide additional details, including the victim’s condition, the circumstances of what led up to the stabbing, or a description of any associated suspect or vehicle.Units are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the area of Almaden Expy and HWY 85. Officers located a victim suffering from at least one stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
