The Alaskan storm that just passed through left lots of cold air that will settle to the ground before it is pushed away by Santa Ana winds Friday morning
San Diego County will experience unseasonably cool temperatures before dawn on Friday due to the cold air that was left behind by the Alaskan storm that just blew through the region.
The National Weather Service says that San Diego’s overnight low will be 49 degrees, which is 9 degrees below average. Escondido will fall to 42, or 10 degrees below average. And Oceanside will be 47, or 7 degrees below average. Julian will drop to 33 degree while Pine Valley falls to 31. Mount Laguna, which got a dusting of snow from the storm, will drop to 28 degrees.The weather will begin to turn warmer on Friday with the arrival of weak Santa Ana winds. San Diego’s daytime high will be in the 67- to 68-degree range Friday through Sunday. The seasonal average is 74.hosts Nevada at Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley.
