The late show with Linda McDermott is loved by listeners across Merseyside
BBC Radio Merseyside's late show with Linda McDermott is set to end this Friday, much to the dismay of regular guests and listeners. According to the radio station's listings, the show will be replaced from Monday, October 9, by a new late show which will be aired across every BBC local radio station in the country, presented by Becky Want and Jo Good.
Sharing a photo of the himself with Linda, Pete tweeted: "Tonight I do my last hour ever with @LindaMcDermott_ Radio Merseyside. We are going to look back over all the years we have both done late night radio. It’s going to be the biggest loss to thousands that this mega talented lady’s contract is not being renewed. Tonight 11 o’clock"
