Russell Brand denies the allegations made against him and has released an update to fans on Rumble.
Russell Brand made a return to live streaming on Monday night after the Metropolitan Police statement was released about the allegations facing the comedian. As we reported, The Metropolitan Police has said it has received “a number of allegations of sexual assault in London” following news reports about the comedian.
Speaking to over 70,000 viewers on Rumble , Brand said at one point: "The global media war against free speech is in full swing, how do I know? Take a guess. Today, of course, we’re talking about events of the last week but, in particular, the collusion between big tech and government and an apparent concerted effort by legacy media and now the state and big tech to silence independent media voices.
Bosses added Brand's channel was suspended from their YouTube Partner Program "following serious allegations against the creator. This action means the channel is no longer able to monetise on YouTube".Before Dispatches aired on September 19, Brand took to YouTube to release a statement claiming there were "serious allegations" made against him, which he "absolutely refutes" and strongly denies.
Police confirmed the latest movement after three women broke their silence after the allegations were aired on TV, with one alleged victim making a report to the Metropolitan Police, and a further person recently spoke out with claims against the comedian, claiming she felt "vulnerable and intimidated".
”But amidst this litany of astonishing rather baroque attacks, often very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I've written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous.
