Darren Bent opens up on Roy Keane hairdryer treatment which lasted two hours AVFC
Aston Villa players were on the receiving end of Roy Keane’s anger in a two-hour rant.
Darren Bent played under the Manchester United legend during his time with Aston Villa where Keane worked as a coach under Paul Lambert in 2014.He is still known to have a sharp tongue in his role as a TV analyst While Keane wasn’t the man in charge at Villa Park, he was certainly someone who struck fear into the hearts of players at the club, with Bent discussing one moment that showed just how fierce the TV pundit was.
Speaking on talkSPORT Drive, Bent said: “The worst one I’ve ever seen was when Roy Keane gave us the hairdryer for two hours.“You know what, it was full artillery as well. It was when he was a coach at Villa. “We saw it if people arrived late to training, but I get it because it’s about standards – his standard were very high and if people didn’t meet those expectations, then he’d lose it.
